Day Wise Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our local representative. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll observe rescued elephants in a caring, semi-natural environment—bathing, feeding, and roaming freely. After this memorable visit, continue towards the cultural triangle and arrive at Sigiriya or Dambulla, two of Sri Lanka’s UNESCO-recognized heritage zones. Check into your hotel and relax for the evening amidst the tranquil countryside. Overnight stay in Sigiriya or Dambulla.
Start your day with a morning visit to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient royal palace perched atop a massive rock with stunning frescoes and panoramic views. Then proceed to the sacred Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple, home to beautifully painted cave shrines and centuries-old Buddha statues. Continue your journey to Kandy with a stop at a Spice Garden in Matale, where you’ll discover Sri Lanka’s world-renowned spices and herbs. Arrive in Kandy by evening and enjoy a Kandyan cultural dance performance. Check in and rest. Overnight stay in Kandy.
After breakfast, visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a major Buddhist pilgrimage site. Then take a short city tour including Upper Lake Drive, the Gem Museum, and Arts & Crafts Centre. Proceed to Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, famous for its expansive collection of orchids and exotic plant species. In the afternoon, begin your scenic journey to Nuwara Eliya, passing lush tea plantations, Ramboda Falls, and the historic Mackwoods Tea Centre. Arrive and check into your hotel in this charming hill station, known for its cool climate and colonial architecture. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
After a refreshing morning in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy a brief tour of this picturesque town including a view of Pidurutalagala, Sri Lanka’s tallest mountain. Then head south through the scenic hills towards Ella, stopping at the famous Ravana Falls. Continue your drive to Yala National Park via Wellawaya, and prepare for an exciting Jeep Safari where you may spot leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. After the safari, check into your hotel in nearby Tissamaharama and unwind. Overnight stay in Tissamaharama.
Depart from Yala and journey along the southern coast, stopping at Hambantota Fishing Harbour for a taste of local coastal life. Continue westward to the historic city of Galle, where you’ll explore cobblestone streets, colonial-era buildings, and the famous Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit a Mask Factory and explore the colorful Coral Gardens. By late afternoon, proceed to Bentota, a peaceful beach town. Check in at your beachside resort and relax by the sea. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Enjoy a full day at leisure on the sunny shores of Bentota. Soak up the sun, take a dip in the sea, or simply unwind by the beach. Optional activities include a Madhu River Boat Safari, visits to a Turtle Hatchery, or water sports such as jet skiing and banana boating. The day is yours to explore or relax as you please. Overnight stay in Bentota.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at Bentota Beach or a short walk around your resort. Later, begin your journey to Colombo International Airport for your departure. Reflect on the memories you’ve made—from elephants and ancient temples to misty hills and golden beaches—as you conclude your unforgettable Sri Lankan adventure.
