Day Wise Itinerary

Your journey through Kerala begins as you arrive in Cochin (Kochi), where palm-lined streets and the scent of spices welcome you. After a warm meet-and-greet, begin your scenic 4–5 hour drive to Munnar, a hill station famed for its endless tea plantations and cool mountain breeze. As you ascend the winding roads, enjoy views of waterfalls, misty valleys, and colonial-era bungalows tucked into the hills. Upon arrival in Munnar, check into your hotel or resort and relax for the evening. Let the fresh air and tranquility set the tone for the days ahead. Overnight stay in Munnar
Wake up to the sounds of birdsong and a hot cup of local tea, then set off for a day of sightseeing in and around Munnar. Your first stop is the Mattupetty Dam, a peaceful lake surrounded by hills where you can enjoy boating or just admire the scenery. Next, visit the Echo Point, where your voice returns to you from the surrounding cliffs. Wander through lush tea plantations, and perhaps visit a tea factory to learn how Munnar’s world-famous brew is made. In the afternoon, explore the Rajamalai hills within the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Return to your hotel in the evening, your senses refreshed by the beauty of the mountains. Overnight stay in Munnar
After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin the picturesque drive to Alleppey —Kerala’s iconic backwater destinations. The journey takes about 4 hours (160 km) and transitions from cool hills to palm-fringed lakes and canals. Upon arrival, check into your lakeside hotel or resort and spend the afternoon relaxing. Later, you may opt for a traditional backwater cruise (at your own cost) on a country boat or houseboat, drifting past lush green villages, paddy fields, and coconut groves. This slow-paced ride through Kerala’s heartland is often the highlight of the trip. After the cruise, return to your accommodation for a peaceful night in the backwaters. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
As your Kerala getaway draws to a close, enjoy a relaxed breakfast by the lake before checking out. Begin your drive back to Cochin (150 km / approx. 4 hours), taking one last look at the swaying palms and emerald waters that define this magical land. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time for some local shopping or a short stop in Fort Kochi. With a heart full of memories and camera full of pictures, you’ll depart Kerala—already dreaming of your return to God’s Own Country
