Day Wise Itinerary

Your Himalayan adventure begins as you arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to Gangtok, the enchanting capital of Sikkim. The journey takes you through lush hills, winding roads, and alongside the emerald Teesta River. Upon arrival in Gangtok (approximately 4-5 hours later), check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around MG Marg, the city's lively promenade dotted with cafes, shops, and local vendors. Soak in the cool mountain air and prepare for the wonders to come.
After an early breakfast, set off on a thrilling day trip to explore the high-altitude jewels of East Sikkim. First, visit the mesmerizing Tsomgo Lake (12,313 ft), a glacial lake known for its changing hues and spiritual significance. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, the lake offers picture-perfect views. Continue onward to the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered site dedicated to a soldier believed to protect those in the mountains. This high-altitude drive offers surreal Himalayan landscapes all along. After soaking in the divine beauty, return to Gangtok by late afternoon. Spend the evening at leisure or indulge in local Sikkimese cuisine. Overnight stay in Gangtok
This morning, enjoy breakfast and check out from your Gangtok hotel as you begin your picturesque drive to Darjeeling, the "Queen of Hills". The 4-5 hour journey offers beautiful vistas, winding mountain roads, and glimpses of tea gardens and Buddhist monasteries. On arrival in Darjeeling, check into your hotel and unwind. The evening is yours to enjoy a peaceful walk along the Chowrasta Mall Road, sample aromatic Darjeeling tea, or simply take in the views of the distant mountains cloaked in clouds. Rest up for an exciting day ahead.
Rise before dawn for a magical experience at Tiger Hill, where you can witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises over the majestic Kanchenjunga range – a truly unforgettable moment. On the way back, visit the Batasia Loop, a spiraling railway marvel with a memorial to Gorkha soldiers, and the peaceful Ghoom Monastery. Later in the day, explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoo, and Tenzing Rock. Don’t miss a visit to a traditional Darjeeling Tea Garden, where you can walk through the plantations and sample fresh brews. If time allows, enjoy a scenic ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway for panoramic views. Return to your hotel for your final night in the hills
After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to the mesmerizing landscapes of Darjeeling and Sikkim. Check out from your hotel and begin your journey back to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. With your heart full of memories – from snowy lakes and ancient monasteries to sunrises and tea gardens – you leave the mountains behind, already dreaming of your next Himalayan escape.
