Day Wise Itinerary
Your Northeast adventure begins as we travel to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, surrounded by pine-covered hills and colonial charm. En route, we pause to admire the stunning Umiam Lake, a vast, serene reservoir perfect for photos and a peaceful breather. By evening, we arrive in Shillong and check into our hotel. Guests gather for a short Meet & Greet session, setting the tone for the beautiful journey ahead.
After breakfast, we begin exploring the charm of Shillong. We visit the elegant Cathedral of Mary (subject to operation), enjoy a leisurely walk around the scenic Ward’s Lake, and take in the beauty of Lady Hydari Park. Next, we explore the Don Bosco Museum, a cultural powerhouse showcasing Northeast India’s rich tribal heritage. Our day continues with a visit to the picturesque Elephant Falls, and in the evening, we dive into Shillong’s vibrant energy at Police Bazar, where guests can shop for local crafts or relax in one of the many stylish cafés and pubs.
Today, we leave Shillong behind and make our way to Jowai, located in the enchanting Jaintia Hills. En route, enjoy picturesque views of paddy fields stretching into the horizon. We also stop at the tranquil Thadlaskein Lake, a peaceful manmade lake steeped in local legends. The road to Jowai is scenic and soul-soothing, offering a glimpse of rural Meghalaya at its finest.
Get ready to be amazed as we visit the breathtaking Krang Suri Waterfall, one of Meghalaya’s most photogenic natural wonders. Located in the Jaintia Hills, this paradise is reached after a short, scenic trek through lush greenery. With its emerald blue waters and the roar of the cascading falls, Krang Suri offers a magical moment for nature lovers and photographers alike. Feel free to dip your feet—or your soul—into its refreshing waters before heading back to Jowai for a relaxed evening.
An exciting day awaits as we begin with a visit to Dawki, famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River. Here, we enjoy a serene boat ride and marvel at the Indo-Bangladesh border at Tamabil. We then continue to Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s Cleanest Village. We explore the quirky Balancing Rock and take a short walk to the living marvel—the Living Root Bridge, an extraordinary example of bioengineering by the Khasi tribe. Later in the day, we drive to the misty cliffs of Cherrapunjee, where we’ll settle in for a refreshing evening in the clouds.
Get your trekking shoes on! Today we take on the iconic Nongriat Trek—a true adventure through dense forest paths, hanging bridges, and flowing streams. The highlight is the world-famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge, a natural wonder and cultural treasure. Dip into the turquoise pools, feel the misty forest air, and marvel at this masterpiece woven by nature and time. It’s a physically rewarding day full of raw, untouched beauty.
We bid farewell to Cherrapunjee and begin our journey to Guwahati. On the way, we visit more of Meghalaya’s gems—exploring the mystical Mawsmai Caves, the thundering Seven Sisters Falls, and the awe-inspiring Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall. We also stop by the peaceful Ram Krishna Mission before arriving in Guwahati. After check-in, the evening is at leisure to relax at the hotel and reflect on your beautiful journey.
Our final day begins with a spiritual visit to Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most revered Shakti Peethas, where we receive Mukh Darshan. After this divine experience, we proceed to the airport as per your scheduled departure. As we say goodbye, the memories of majestic waterfalls, sacred hills, crystal-clear rivers, and warm Khasi hospitality will stay with you forever. Phir milenge!

- "The Company shall be entitled to forfeit the nonrefundable amount paid by the client to the company in the event the client cancels the booking, fails to adhere to the tour payment schedule as informed in the documentation check-list, or if the visa for any country is not granted. This also applies if the client is unable to travel on the tour booked due to any reason whatsoever, including medical grounds or sickness. The non-refundable amount shall stand forfeited as per the 'Cancellation Policy' stipulated hereinabove."
