Day Wise Itinerary

Upon arrival in the city of lakes, Bhopal, we begin our journey by diving into the soul of Madhya Pradesh at the beautifully curated Tribal Museum. This immersive museum showcases the vibrant lives, customs, and beliefs of the region's indigenous tribes through striking displays, art installations, and cultural exhibits. Later, we take a picturesque photo stop at the Upper Lake (Bhojtal)—an iconic waterbody that defines the city’s landscape and offers scenic views, especially during sunset. After a culturally rich day, we check in to our hotel for a relaxing evening.
Today, after a wholesome breakfast, we head out for an enriching day trip to Sanchi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in the world. As we explore the majestic Sanchi Stupa, we walk through centuries of history reflected in the stupas, monolithic Ashoka Pillar, intricately carved gateways, temples, and monasteries—each narrating the story of Buddha and his teachings. In the evening, we return to Bhopal and enjoy some free time for shopping local crafts, souvenirs, and traditional fabrics in the local markets. A warm dinner awaits as we wrap up a serene and spiritual day.
This morning, we bid farewell to Bhopal and begin our scenic drive toward Madhai, a peaceful forest destination tucked within the Satpura Tiger Reserve. En route, we stop at Bhojpur, a town of historical and religious importance, to visit the grand yet incomplete Bhojeshwar Temple, housing one of India’s largest Shivlings. We then continue to the fascinating Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring prehistoric cave paintings that offer rare glimpses into human life over 30,000 years ago. Surrounded by hills and forest, this site is a marvel of ancient art and human evolution. By evening, we reach the serene wilderness of Madhai, where we settle in and soak in the sounds of the jungle.
We rise early today for an exciting jungle safari in the Madhai region of Satpura National Park—a pristine forest teeming with wildlife, birds, and if you're lucky, even tigers. With its tranquil rivers, dense sal forests, and misty mornings, Madhai offers a true wilderness experience. After this thrilling escapade in nature, we return to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed back to Bhopal airport for our return journey. As we say goodbye, we carry with us vivid memories of tribal tales, ancient stupas, rock art, and the untamed beauty of central India.
