Day Wise Itinerary
Arrive in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, where you’ll be greeted with pristine air, majestic mountains, and the shimmering Dal Lake. After checking into your hotel, begin your day with local sightseeing. Visit the enchanting Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Stroll around the vibrant Boulevard Road and enjoy the mesmerizing view of Zabarwan Hills. Don't miss a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake in the evening.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Sonmarg, the "Meadow of Gold," nestled at an altitude of 2,730 meters. Surrounded by snow-clad mountains and lush greenery, Sonmarg offers spellbinding views. You can opt for a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost) or just soak in the serene landscape. Return to Srinagar by evening for overnight stay.
Post breakfast, proceed to the world-renowned ski resort, Gulmarg, known for its powdery snow, rolling meadows, and pine forests. Check into your hotel and explore this winter wonderland. You may take the Gondola ride (Asia’s highest cable car) up to Apharwat Peak for spectacular views. Enjoy activities like skiing, snowboarding, or simply revel in the breathtaking surroundings. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.
After a relaxed morning, drive to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds," located on the banks of the Lidder River. En route, pass through saffron fields and the ancient ruins of Avantipura. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day unwinding amidst pine forests, rivers, and alpine beauty. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Today is dedicated to exploring the charm of Pahalgam. Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari — each known for their cinematic landscapes and peaceful ambience. These spots are perfect for nature walks, pony rides, or simply soaking in the panoramic vistas. Return to your hotel for a peaceful evening and overnight stay in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, head back to Srinagar for a unique Kashmiri experience — a night on a traditional houseboat. Enjoy the tranquility of the Dal Lake, the floating markets, and the soft lull of the water beneath you. This magical stay offers a serene finale to your Kashmir journey. Relish authentic Wazwan cuisine on board and unwind under the star-lit sky.
After breakfast, check out from your houseboat and transfer to the airport with beautiful memories of Kashmir’s snow-covered peaks, verdant meadows, and warm hospitality. Depart with your heart full and your camera roll overflowing.
