Day Wise Itinerary

Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and get whisked away into the mesmerizing landscapes of Sikkim as you drive toward Gangtok, the lively capital nestled in the Himalayas (approx. 4.5 hours). Check-in to your hotel and unwind. In the evening, stroll through MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok, where you can enjoy local delicacies, cafes, and a peaceful pedestrian vibe.
Post breakfast, embark on a high-altitude adventure to Tsomgo Lake, a sacred glacial lake that sits at 12,310 ft, with pristine waters surrounded by rugged peaks. Then visit the legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to a brave Indian soldier known for his spiritual presence. Optional: Add Nathula Pass (closed on Mondays/Tuesdays, subject to permits and weather). Return to Gangtok by evening
After breakfast, drive to the alpine village of Lachen (approx. 6 hours). Along the way, stop at stunning sights like Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik Viewpoint, and Naga Waterfalls. The journey is a visual feast of lush forests and deep valleys. Arrive in the peaceful village of Lachen by evening, tucked away in the North Sikkim hills, and relax amid nature.
Start early to visit the ethereal Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft), one of the highest lakes in the world and sacred to both Buddhists and Sikhs. The landscape here is stark, spiritual, and soul-stirring. After this unforgettable experience, return to Lachen for lunch and then proceed to Lachung (approx. 2.5 hours), another charming mountain village. Enjoy the changing scenery along the route and rest on arrival.
In the morning, visit the stunning Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, blanketed in rhododendrons during spring or snow during winter. Optional: Drive further to Zero Point (if accessible) for a surreal view of snow-covered mountains. Return to Lachung, have lunch, and begin your scenic return journey to Gangtok. Arrive by evening and relax at your hotel.
After breakfast, it’s time to travel westward to the serene town of Pelling (approx. 4.5–5 hours). Pass through winding roads, forests, and rivers on this scenic drive. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the laid-back charm of this quiet hill town. You may choose to explore nearby viewpoints or simply rest up for tomorrow’s adventure.
Start your day with the 1st half tour: visit Rimbi Waterfalls, tranquil Khecheopalri Lake (a sacred wish-fulfilling lake), and Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, one of the most powerful in the region. After lunch, continue with the 2nd half tour – visit the ancient Pemayangtse Monastery, then walk across India’s first glass Sky Walk at Sang-Ngag Choling, facing a towering statue of Chenrezig and spectacular mountain views.
After breakfast, bid farewell to Pelling and drive to Darjeeling (approx. 4.5 hours), the famed "Queen of the Hills." En route, admire lush tea gardens, quiet villages, and emerald hills. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and explore Chowrasta Mall, where you can sip authentic Darjeeling tea, browse bookstores, or simply enjoy the colonial charm of the surroundings.
Begin your day before sunrise with a visit to Tiger Hill, where the first rays of sunlight set Mt. Kanchenjunga ablaze with color. On the way back, stop at Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and Tenzing Rock. In the afternoon, explore the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, where Tibetan artisans craft carpets, woolen goods, and wooden artifacts. End your journey with a toy train ride (optional) through misty tea gardens – a perfect conclusion to your Himalayan adventure.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Bagdogra to catch your flight for your onward journey. Tour Ends.
