Day Wise Itinerary
Your sacred journey begins as you depart from Delhi and travel by road to the holy city of Haridwar, a serene destination where the Ganga enters the plains. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, immerse yourself in the divine ambiance at Har Ki Pauri by witnessing the spectacular Ganga Aarti, a spiritual ritual of lights and chants by the riverbank. Also explore the revered Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temples, accessible via scenic ropeway rides. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Haridwar.
After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Guptkashi, the base town for Kedarnath. Along the way, witness the spiritual confluence of rivers at Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi meet to form the Ganga, and later at Rudraprayag, where the Alaknanda and Mandakini converge. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, check in to your hotel and visit the Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy dinner and rest overnight amidst the peaceful mountain surroundings.
Today, after an early breakfast, check out and drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of your spiritual trek to Kedarnath, one of the holiest Jyotirlingas. Begin the 16 km trek through breathtaking Himalayan trails. You can also hire a palki or horse (at your own cost) to ease the journey. As you ascend, marvel at the snow-capped peaks and sacred aura surrounding the path. On reaching Kedarnath, check in at the government camps/lodges and prepare for your temple darshan the next morning. Overnight stay near the Kedarnath temple.
Rise before dawn and make your way to Kedarnath Temple to attend the early morning darshan and puja. Don’t miss a visit to the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi, located just behind the temple. After seeking blessings, begin your return trek to Gaurikund, and from there, transfer by jeep to Sonprayag, where your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Guptkashi. Enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay after a spiritually fulfilling day.
After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive to Badrinath, one of the most revered Char Dham temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The route takes you via the enchanting landscapes of Chopta, also known as the 'Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand', and Joshimath, home to the Narsingh Temple. On arrival in Badrinath, check in to your hotel and rest briefly. In the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple for darshan and offer your prayers in the divine presence of Lord Badri. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Begin your day with a serene visit to Badrinath Temple once again, and if possible, attend the early Maha Abhishekam. After breakfast, explore nearby spiritual sites including Mana Village (the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. After a fulfilling morning, start your drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check in to your hotel upon arrival, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight in the peaceful town where rivers meet.
After breakfast, proceed towards Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world and a place of deep spiritual resonance. Upon arrival, explore iconic sites such as Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Triveni Ghat. In the evening, take part in the soulful Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, a perfect moment to reflect on your journey. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Rishikesh.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return drive to Delhi. Arrive by late afternoon or evening and proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying the divine blessings and unforgettable memories of your Do Dham Yatra with Dreamland Travel.
