Day Wise Itinerary
Your spiritual journey begins with a warm welcome at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, followed by a scenic drive to Haridwar, the ancient city on the banks of the Ganga. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. Later, visit prominent spiritual landmarks like Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi, Shantikunj, and Daksh Temple. As the sun sets, experience the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a spectacle of lights, chants, and devotion. Return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your drive from Haridwar to the quaint hill town of Barkot, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. En route, enjoy a refreshing stop at the famous Kempty Falls near Mussoorie. On arrival in Barkot, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Begin your day early and head toward Jankichatti, the base for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri, the sacred source of the Yamuna River. You may choose to trek on foot or hire a palki or pony (at additional cost). The trail is surrounded by lush green valleys and Himalayan flora. On reaching Yamunotri, perform pooja and take a holy dip in the Surya Kund. After seeking blessings, trek back to Jankichatti and return to Barkot for dinner and an overnight stay
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Uttarkashi, a spiritual town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. En route, visit the Prakateshwar Mahadev Cave Temple, a naturally formed Shiva cave that adds a mystical touch to the journey. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, enjoy a peaceful evening, followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning, set out for Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga. On the way, stop by scenic spots such as Gangnani hot springs, Jhala Valley, Lanka, Harshil, and Surya Kund. Once in Gangotri, take a dip in the sacred river and perform rituals at the Gangotri Temple. After darshan, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Post breakfast, drive toward Guptkashi, a picturesque town and an important halt on the way to Kedarnath. Along the route, you can stop at Chaurangi Khal, known for its spiritual significance and panoramic views. Once in Guptkashi, check in at the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From here, proceed to Gaurikund, the base point for the trek to Kedarnath. Begin your 16 km trek to one of the holiest shrines, Kedarnath Temple. You may also hire a pony or palanquin (at extra cost). On arrival, check into basic government camps or lodges and rest amidst the divine vibes of the Himalayas. Overnight stay near the temple.
Rise early and attend the Kedarnath temple darshan before sunrise, an experience that leaves a lasting spiritual impact. After the puja, trek down to Gaurikund and take a jeep back to Sonprayag, where your vehicle awaits. Return to your hotel in Guptkashi, unwind, enjoy a hot meal, and relax overnight.
Post breakfast, depart for Badrinath, the final stop of your Char Dham Yatra. Travel via Chopta, often called the “Mini Switzerland of India,” and pass through Joshimath, where you can visit the sacred Narsingh Temple. Once in Badrinath, check into your hotel and after a brief rest, proceed to the Badrinath Temple for evening darshan. Return for dinner and a restful night at the hotel.
Start your morning with a second darshan at Badrinath Temple, followed by breakfast. Explore local attractions such as Mana Village (India’s last village), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. Later, begin your drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
After breakfast, begin your return journey towards Haridwar, with a stop at Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. Visit ashrams, ghats, or enjoy the serene environment by the Ganga. By evening, reach Haridwar, check into your hotel, and spend your last night of the tour reflecting on your spiritual journey.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive back to Delhi. On arrival, you will be dropped at your preferred location—Airport or Railway Station—marking the end of a memorable and spiritually uplifting Char Dham Yatra with Dreamland Travel.
